I've been such a wanna be Martha Stewart lately... I made some buttery sugar cookies along with some righ brownies topped with cream cheese frosting and decorated them with my hubby and son. Well my son just tried to stick his fingers in the frosting but he tried. I hope we all have a great Halloween.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Cupcakes

A co-worker of mine asked me to do some cupcakes for her hubby's 25th birthday. He was born in 1984 the year TMNT came out. She requested Chocolate cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting. Here's how they turned out. She said "they are a little piece of heaven."

Zoie's 2nd Birthday

My friend Aubrey's daughter turned two this month and she was doing a lady bug theme and asked me to do her cake for about 40 people. I've made cakes before but I'm still learning all the tricks of the cake making trade but this is what I was able to do in between the little man tugging on the apron and the husband trying to eat all the frosting. Not too bad for a 2ND birthday cake and my first try. And there wasn't any cake left after the party. Yummy stuff!
